Fairy Tales, Folklore, and Legends

August-June

Embark on an adventure at Greenacres Arts Center to explore different fairy tales, folklore, and legends. This program explores the concepts of telling and retelling a story through the arts, dramatic play, and use of imagination. This program’s content changes in fall, winter, and spring, so you can visit one, two, or three times! This program is ideal for students ages 5-9. All multi-grade program offerings will be supported by grade-level appropriate standards, available to share upon request.

Patterns Around Us

August-June

Patterns are a part of our everyday lives and help us make sense of the world! Join us at Greenacres Arts Center to search for and create our own patterns through the visual and performing arts. Parts of this program change with the season, so there is always something new to explore! This program is ideal for students ages 5-9. Sing High, Sing Low: Musical Opposites

August-June

Life is full of opposites, like happy or sad, warm or cold, and big or small. Join us for an adventure as we explore opposites through music! Go fast and slow as we follow tempo, get loud and quiet as we explore dynamics, feel long and short sounds as we make rhythms, and hear highs and lows as we experience pitch. This program is ideal for students ages 5-9. All multi-grade program offerings will be supported by grade-level appropriate standards, available to share upon request.
