Sing High, Sing Low: Musical Opposites

August-June

Life is full of opposites, like happy or sad, warm or cold, and big or small. Join us for an adventure as we explore opposites through music! Go fast and slow as we follow tempo, get loud and quiet as we explore dynamics, feel long and short sounds as we make rhythms, and hear highs and lows as we experience pitch. This program is ideal for students ages 5-9. All multi-grade program offerings will be supported by grade-level appropriate standards, available to share upon request.

Exploring the Colors of the Rainbow

Explore the color wheel’s primary and secondary colors with the Greenacres Arts Educators! We will discover how colors can inspire us, and how colors can connect to and reflect our emotions. Without the arts in our community, we would lack in entertainment and creative outlets that make the world a better place. Join the Arts Educators to discover how artists fit into the larger community, and the paths you can take to engage with the arts in your lives.

      Speaking Up!

      August-June

      For ages, people have explored how to use their voice to confidently say what they mean. We will empower students to present themselves in front of peers through the light-hearted lens of improv comedy. We will also gather inspiration from visual artists who used their works to speak their minds.
