Come learn about Ohio’s unique geology and get a chance to look for fossils here at Greenacres. Program will consist of a brief overview of the geology of Ohio then move to the creek where participants will search for Ohio’s Ordovician fossils and try to identify them. This program is suitable for school aged children ages 5 and above. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. Close toed shoes are required.
General Information
- Register in advance (space is limited)
- Adult tickets are available, and tickets for children (ages 5-17) are only available for purchase with a participating adult
- $1 per person
- Please dress appropriately for the weather, we will be outside in nature for most of the time. Shoes will get wet and dirty. Closed-toed shoes are required.
- If you would like, please bring a filled water bottle
- No strollers permitted
- No pets may be brought to Greenacres
- Greenacres Foundation is privately operating; all guests on the property must be accompanied by a Greenacres representative at all times
