SMS Communications
Greenacres Foundation may send SMS/text messages to customers, participants, volunteers, visitors, community members, and employees who have opted in to receive them.
Public SMS Communications
Customers, participants, volunteers, visitors, and community members may receive messages related to:

Greenacres Foundation collects public SMS consent verbally at our locations or over the phone. Before enrollment, staff explain the types of messages the individual may receive and ask for clear verbal confirmation that the individual agrees to receive SMS communications.
Before consenting, individuals are informed that message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply, they may reply HELP for assistance, and they may reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Individuals are also directed to our Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy.
Employee SMS Notifications
Greenacres Foundation employees may opt in to employee SMS notifications through an authorized employee self-service system. All employees are opted out by default.
To enroll, an employee signs in to the employee self-service system, opens Notification Preferences, and selects the SMS option. The employee is shown an SMS consent disclosure and links to Greenacres Foundation’s Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy. The employee must agree to the disclosures, confirm or change the mobile number where messages should be received, request a verification code, and enter the code to verify and register the number.
Employee SMS messages may include:
- Payroll deadlines and timecard reminders
- Onboarding requirements
- Account-related notifications
- HR and organizational communications
- Workplace safety, weather, office closure, and emergency alerts
- Confirmations related to approvals or employment-related requests
Employees may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message or by disabling SMS through Notification Preferences in the employee self-service system.
SMS consent is optional, may be withdrawn at any time, and is not a condition of employment, participation, purchase, or receiving other Greenacres Foundation services.
Information Sharing
Greenacres Foundation does not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with authorized service providers only when necessary to operate our systems, deliver requested services, send communications, or meet legal obligations.
Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
