Join us at Greenacres Foundation in Indian Hill for a beginner-level workshop on Equine Grazing! This program is designed for equestrians that manage any number of horses; from a personal horse in your own backyard to managing full stables and equine facilities.
Learn from experienced practitioners through a combination of classroom instruction and an interactive pasture walk. Topics will include grazing practices, pasture management, proactive manure management options, stocking rates, and sacrifice lots.
During the pasture walk, attendees will observe: rotational grazing methods, pasture and soil quality, and discuss practical strategies for implementation in equine pastures.
This workshop is geared toward adults, though young adults and older teens may attend.
