Join Greenacres Foundation at Michaela Farm for a beginner-level workshop on multi species rotational grazing. This program is designed for farmers, landowners, and producers interested in integrating cattle, sheep, and poultry into a multi species grazing system.
Learn from experienced practitioners through a combination of classroom instruction and an interactive pasture walk. Topics will include grazing management, fencing, watering systems, and infrastructure considerations, led by Greenacres Livestock staff with support from the Indiana Conservation Partnership.
During the pasture walk, attendees will observe cattle, sheep, and laying hens rotationally grazed together and discuss practical strategies for implementation on working farms.
This workshop is geared toward adults, though young adults and older teens may attend.
Lunch is included with registration.
Please be prepared for uneven terrain, short walks, and periods of standing. The program will take place rain or shine, except in the case of dangerous weather. Closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are required.
All tickets include lunch.
General Admission tickets are $25, and Student tickets are $15.
Due to limited capacity, walk-ins will not be accepted. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
