Fall Farm Hike at Greenacres Michaela Farm
Enjoy the colors of fall on a guided hike designed for all ages. The experience begins with a short tour of the Education Center before heading outdoors to explore wetlands, a pond, prairie, and forest. Along the way, kids and adults alike will learn about decomposition, habitats, and native species through engaging, hands-on experiences.
The hike continues into the pasture, where you’ll discover more about rotational grazing and see livestock up close—a favorite for families and an insightful look at sustainable farming for adults. The journey wraps up in the gardens, where Educators will share how food production continues well into autumn and highlight Greenacres’ commitment to sustainable agriculture.
Whether you’re bringing the whole family or coming on your own, this hike offers a fun and educational way to enjoy the season and connect with nature.
