Family Discovery Time: Fall on the Farm

Join us at Greenacres Nippert Barn for a hands-on, fall-filled adventure where learning meets discovery in the heart of harvest season! Families will explore the vibrant colors, bountiful crops, and lively creatures that make fall such a special time in agriculture. Through interactive activities and exploration, children will connect with the rhythms of the farm and the wonders of the season.

Family Discovery Time is a one-hour child-focused educational program designed for children and their families to experience Greenacres Farm at Nippert Barn. Literacy and hands-on experiences will be woven together to spark curiosity and cultivate a deeper connection to nature. Please dress to spend time outdoors in our pastures, gardens, and natural areas—we may encounter mud, changing weather, and evidence of our livestock.

Activities are best suited for ages 5 and up. Younger siblings are welcome but may need additional support from an adult.

Tickets

• • • $1 per person (adults and children)
    • All participants must be registered in advance—space is limited!
    • Adult tickets are available and tickets for children are only available for purchase with a participating adult

General Information

• • • No strollers or pets permitted.
    • Filled water bottles are permitted.
    • All food must remain in your vehicle.
    • Wear clothing suitable for outdoor exploration (rain or shine).
    • Closed-toed shoes are required; expect them to get wet and muddy.
    • Greenacres Foundation is privately operated; all guests on the property must be accompanied by a Greenacres representative at all times.
