The Ohio Invasive Plants Council (OIPC) will be hosting a workshop with the Greenacres Foundation entitled “Invasive Plants: Monitoring, Management, and Using Alternatives”. Three speakers will present about invasive plants, their identification, controls, and alternatives. The day will include an overview of invasive plants, how to control invasive plants, and alternatives to use in landscaping; invasive plant management at Greenacres and Great Parks of Hamilton County; lunch, handouts, and three short field trips.
Tickets are $35 and include lunch.

• Woods walk to see invasive plant/restoration research site; honeysuckle removal and other invasive species challenges
• Walk to a transect to learn about our long-term monitoring program and methods for monitoring invasive species
