This program will explore how the winter season can inspire your artistic process and creativity. Dress for the weather\, because this program will occur indoors and outdoors on the Arts Center grounds. Tickets are available on a first come\, first serve basis. This program is from 10am-1pm at the Greenacres Arts Center. There will be time at the end of the program to enjoy a picnic-style lunch in the Greenacres Arts Center\, so please feel free to pack a lunch for your family. \nIn this program\, families will have the opportunity to: \n\n\n\nExplore the winter landscape of the Arts Center grounds\nParticipate in winter-inspired arts activities guided by the Greenacres Arts Team\nWork side-by-side as a family to explore and create\nHave a lunch in the fairy tale-like setting of the Arts Center\n\n\n\nGeneral Information\n\n\n\nEach person in attendance\, regardless of age\, will require a ticket. This is important for two reasons: 1) The reservation of tickets for each individual covers our liability waiver for each attendee. 2) These numbers help us track the full reach of arts programming.\nDoors open for check in at 9:30 AM. The programming begins promptly at 10:00 AM. Please give yourself a few extra minutes to arrive and check in at Greenacres.\nRegister in advance. Tickets are limited. Dr. Christopher Holman will perform organ transcriptions of iconic overtures by Mozart\, Verdi\, Bizet\, and others. He will be joined by acclaimed American soprano Cynthia Holman\, known for her powerful\, expressive voice and artistic versatility. He has appeared in renowned cathedrals\, concert halls\, and major festivals worldwide. A noted scholar of early recording technology and historical instruments such as the Aeolian organ at Greenacres\, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Music from the University of Oxford. He currently serves as Director of Music and Assistant Professor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology (the Athenaeum) in Cincinnati. \nCynthia Holman is an internationally acclaimed operatic soprano whose career includes performances with leading opera companies\, orchestras\, and chamber ensembles across Europe and the United States. Known for her expressive artistry and stylistic range\, she is equally at home in opera\, oratorio\, and art song. Her innovative programming and performances are regularly featured at major festivals and concert series around the world. \nTimeline\n6:00 PM – Gates open; cash bar (beer + wine) and light snacks available for purchase \n7:00 PM – Program begins \n8:00 PM – Program concludes \nTickets\nGeneral Admission tickets cost $25.
