The performance will take place in the Grand Tent at the Greenacres Arts Center and will last for approximately 1 hour. \nTickets\nThere are three types of tickets for this year’s Celebration Concert. We will have VIP tickets\, Grand Tent General Admission\, and Tented Lawn General Admission. \nVIP Tickets – $100  \nWith the purchase of a VIP ticket you get an exclusive cocktail hour in the gorgeous gardens of the Greenacres Arts Center from 5:30pm-6:30pm. During this time you can enjoy passed appetizers\, open bar\, early access to seat selection and a photo opportunity with John Morris Russell\, conductor of the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Once the VIP cocktail hour ends\, General Admission ticket holders will join you in the gardens for another hour of mingling and fun. The bars will then switch to cash bar and passed appetizers will no longer be offered after 6:30pm. If you also purchased pre-ordered meals and snacks\, pickup will be available at any time during the VIP or General Admission cocktail hours. \nGrand Tent General Admission Tickets – $40  \nWith the purchase of a Grand Tent General Admission ticket you will have access to a pre-event cocktail hour starting at 6:30pm. During this cocktail hour you will have access to roam about the gardens\, cash bar\, and time to pick up your pre-ordered meals. You will select your seat from inside the Grand Tent space. Early admission will not be accommodated.\n \nTented Lawn General Admission Tickets  – $30  \nWith the purchase of a Tented Lawn General Admission ticket you will have access to a pre-event cocktail hour starting at 6:30pm. During this cocktail hour you will have access to roam about the gardens\, cash bar\, and time to pick up your pre-ordered meals. You will select your seat from inside the Tented Lawn space. Understanding how to properly manage these plants is a critical step in protecting the health of our local environment. This series will provide participants with knowledge and hands-on experience to identify\, control\, and restore areas affected by invasive species. Participants will gain valuable insights into the ecological impact of invasive species and learn how small\, consistent efforts can make a big difference in restoring native habitats. \nEach session will combine classroom learning with guided field hikes\, offering participants hands-on experience identifying\, controlling\, and restoring areas impacted by invasive species. Greenacres Land Management and Research staff\, along with the Trees & Trails Foundation\, will guide attendees through the process of invasive plant management\, providing practical tools and strategies to apply on their own properties. \nThis series is for adults aged 18 and older and will take place rain or shine. \nTime: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM \nLocation: Spooky Hollow Farm – 8500 Spooky Hollow Rd\, Cincinnati\, OH 45242 \nCost: Tickets are $5 per session and include light snacks and refreshments. \nWhen purchasing tickets\, select a ticket for every session you would like to attend and then proceed to checkout. We’ll hike to the creek and explore exposed rock beds in search of 450-million-year-old Ordovician fossils\, including bryozoans\, brachiopods\, and other ancient marine life. This event will take place at the Greenacres Nippert Barn\, followed by small-group tours of our Temple Grandin-designed livestock handling facility. \nDr. Grandin will explore the key principles of humane livestock handling\, emphasizing the importance of calm\, low-stress interactions between animals and handlers. She’ll discuss how both thoughtful facility design and skilled stockmanship contribute to animal welfare and safer\, more efficient operations. Dr. Grandin’s talk will draw from decades of research and firsthand experience in improving livestock systems around the world. \nGuests will also hear brief remarks from Greenacres Director of Agriculture\, Michael Cox\, and President\, Meredith Leslie\, who will share how Dr. Grandin’s practices are applied in our day-to-day work. \nWhile not touring the facility\, guests will be able to browse stations highlighting Greenacres’ ongoing work in Livestock\, Agricultural Education\, and Research\, as well as shop at our Farm Market or explore Carter’s Classroom\, which will feature educational displays related to animal handling.  \nDr. Grandin’s books will be available for purchase at the event and can be bought after check-in to be signed during the book signing. Acceptable forms of payment include cash\, credit\, check\, and Venmo. Complimentary coffee and light breakfast pastries will be available. \nTimeline\n9:00AM – Doors open\, check-in\, and optional book signing \n10:00AM – Presentation begins (promptly) \n11:00AM – Q&A with Dr. Grandin \n11:45AM–12:30PM – Tours of the Temple Grandin Handling Facility and educational stations \nTickets\nTickets are $35 for adults and $25 for students and children (ages 8+). Please be prepared for uneven terrain\, some short hikes\, and standing. Strollers are not recommended. Young children are welcome\, but please keep in mind this event occurs outdoors and away from our restroom facilities.
