This system combines diverse vegetable and cut flower crops with rotational grazing to build healthy soil and support biodiversity. \nLearn how integrating animals and plants strengthens local food systems\, and discover how Greenacres is using these principles to create a vibrant\, sustainable future. The research team will also be on-site offering interactive pollinator learning experiences\, including bug net sweeping demonstrations. \nAdditional activities include: \n\n\n\n\n\nMake-your-own bouquet bar (flower selection varies by availability)\nKid-friendly discovery stations\nA bag of fresh produce to take home (one per household)\n\n\n\n\n\nKnow Before You Go\nThe Ley Field is a short walk from the parking area and includes uneven\, natural terrain. Guests should be prepared for a moderate uphill walk and wear appropriate footwear. \nPlease bring: \n\n\n\n\n\nEach guest or group must bring their own picnic meal. Am I eligible to apply again?\nYes!
