Dr. van Vliet’s research is performed at the nexus of agricultural and human health. This opportunity allows artists to step away from their daily routines and reconnect with their creative selves\, fellow artists\, and their surroundings. \n\n\n\n\n\nIdeal for students and local artists looking to build connections and develop their skills\nThe perfect balance of learning\, networking\, relaxation\, and creative exploration\, both indoors and outdoors.\nThe weekend encourages collaboration among painters\, musicians\, writers\, performers\, and creatives of all disciplines\, making it an invaluable opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. \nParticipate in restorative activities like guided yoga sessions and hikes through Greenacres’ preserved woodlands.\nAn opportunity to lead a session on topics such as artistic techniques\, creative approaches\, or your personal process\, with supplies provided by Greenacres.\nExhibit your work on loan in a gallery that attracts thousands of visitors each year. The Exhibition Opening is scheduled for February 6th\, 2027\, offering a unique opportunity to share your artistry with a wide audience.\n\n\n\n\n\nStart Application\n  \nCost: $80 student\, $150 general\n\nEvent Dates: November 6 – 8\, 2026 \nApplication Due Date: September 4\, 2026 \nLocation: Greenacres Arts Center\, 8400 Blome Road #A\, Cincinnati\, Ohio 45243 \n\n\nHow to Apply\nThe 2026 Greenacres Artist Weekend application requires two elements: \n\n\n\n\n\nThe online application form (required)\nExamples of your work (required)\n\nPlease submit 2-5 examples of your artworks\, recordings\, or written works as part of your portfolio. A link to an online portfolio or website is also acceptable. Once accepted\, the cost to participate in the three-day weekend and featured exhibition is $80 for students and $150 for general participants. Payment is due after acceptance to the event. \n\n\nWhen does the application close?\nThe online application for the Greenacres Artist Weekend will close on September 4th\, 2026. \n\n\nI have previously attended the Artist Weekend. Am I eligible to apply again?\nYes!
