Tickets are available on a first come\, first served basis. The program runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenacres Arts Center. \nFamilies are welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy together at the end of the program. \nDuring this experience\, families will:\n\n\n\nExplore the new art exhibition at the Greenacres Arts Center\nEngage in guided art viewing and collaborative art making\nParticipate in hands-on activities led by the Greenacres Arts Team\n\n\n\nThis program is designed to spark creativity\, connection\, and appreciation for the arts in a beautiful\, inspiring setting. \nGeneral Information\n\n\n\nEach person in attendance\, regardless of age\, will require a ticket. This is important for two reasons: 1) The reservation of tickets for each individual covers our liability waiver for each attendee. 2) These numbers help us track the full reach of arts programming.\nDoors open for check in at 9:30 AM. This two-part learning experience gives homeschool families the opportunity to explore both Science and Math concepts through engaging\, hands-on activities with Greenacres horses. \nParticipants can choose to attend one or both programs\, with two date options for each. We strongly encourage families to experience both programs—but please select only one date per program when registering. \nEach session combines classroom learning with interactive exploration in the barn and arena\, connecting key academic principles to the real-world care\, training\, and management of horses at Greenacres. \nLearners aged 8 and older are welcome. Due to safety considerations\, younger children and siblings are not able to attend. \nProgram Schedule and Descriptions\nProgram 1 – Horse Force\nDates: Wednesday\, February 11 or Monday\, February 23\nTime: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM \nHorses are acted upon by forces and exert forces on other objects. We will explore different types of forces found in our equine center and gain hands-on experience manipulating and measuring them.\n \nProgram 2 – Equine Anatomy\nDates: Thursday\, February 12 or Tuesday\, February 24\nTime: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM \nHorses\, ponies\, and drafts\, oh my!
