We welcome your family to join our garden team for an immersive evening picnic in the serene beauty of the Greenacres ley field. \nAs the sun begins to set\, our team will guide you through the wonders of pre-industrial ley farming. Learn how this sustainable agricultural practice combines diverse plant species and animals to nurture soil health and foster ecological balance. Guests of all ages will learn about the benefits of crop rotation and other techniques that promote generative farming and support a resilient food system. In addition\, the Greenacres research team will be on site discussing all things pollinators. \nPlease note that our Ley Field is a short hike up a small hill and some distance from the parking area. This is a working garden and farm so the terrain can be difficult for some.  \nWHAT TO BRING \nGreenacres will provide a picnic-style meal as part of this event.
